This was a collaboration with a dear friend and exceptionally talented 3D artist. The title comes from a track by Nine Inch Nails. I started the process by sketching the basic concept in my notebook, then refined it into a polished final drawing using tracing paper, working through the letterforms until every detail felt right.
Once the sketch was done, Kevin took over and built the 3D version. We wanted the piece to feel classic and romantic but simultaneously modern and contemporary, balancing ornate lettering with texture and dramatic lighting to give it physical weight.
